Bio: Based in Belfast Karen Jardine has over 20 years’ experience of public policy development and analysis in the public and faith sectors. Karen is currently the Public Affairs Officer for the Presbyterian Church in Ireland and assists the denomination’s Council for Public Affairs to develop the Church’s thinking on issues of public policy. Previously she supported MLAs at the Northern Ireland Assembly in their scrutiny of NI Executive policy and legislation in areas including education, justice, finance and good relations. She has also worked for Evangelical Alliance NI as their public policy officer and in the NI Civil Service in the area of good relations funding and policy. Karen is an elder in Bloomfield Presbyterian Church and regularly leads worship on Sunday evenings. She has organised events and seminars on issues facing Christians today for BPC.
