Expertise: Communications, Big Picture issues facing the Irish Church, Missiology and in particular Incarnational Mission, bible teaching (general), Suicide Prevention, Crisis Management / Crisis Communication plus findings from the VOX research projects (Millennials, Women and Racism)

Qualifications: Journalist, Communications Consultant and researcher plus author and Christian leader in pioneer/ incarnational mission.

Bio: Ruth Garvey-Williams has been in Christian ministry for the over 30 years, alongside her husband Andrew. Ruth is editor of Ireland’s Christian magazine, VOX. She is an author and speaker, and serves on the boards of several national Christian organisations including the Evangelical Alliance of Ireland and the Irish Bible Institute. Ruth has a passionate concern for Christian unity and for the inclusion of those who are oppressed and marginalised. As editor of VOX magazine, she has travelled extensively throughout Ireland and conducted research into issues such as women and the church, racism and abuse. She is chairperson of mental health and suicide prevention charity Insight Inishowen – www.insightinishowen.ie and secretary of The Exchange Inishowen www.exchangeinishowen.ie (an award-winning community centre and community development charity in her home town of Buncrana, County Donegal).
